Carla Caruso graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1987 with a BFA in glass sculpture. Totally self-taught, she founded Carla Caruso Jewelry in 2001. She works in a studio above her garage, accompanied by her faithful pooch Lola, making each and every piece by hand. Christina Ricci, Jodie Foster, Christy Turlington and even Mary Tyler Moore are wearing Carla's jewelry.  Her collection has evolved over the years but the essence remains the same: handmade jewelry that wears beautifully.
