Learn how to build tone through various types of pencil strokes and how to capture the gesture of trees, hills, bushes, rocks, grasses, and much more with quick lines. Learn how to create the sense of space and distance through size, tonal contrast, atmospheric depictions, and other artistic techniques.
Since students with varying amounts of experience will be attending, a variety of drawing choices will be offered in each workshop addressing the experience and interest of each student. There will be printed information for each workshop. People are welcome to work in pencil or pen & ink.
