Each workshop will feature different aspects of drawing trees. You will learn how to depict contours, foreshortening, shading, body shadows, cast shadows, proportion, tones due to aerial perspective, details due to linear perspective, bark textures, major axis of trunks, branch & twig structures & shapes according to types of trees, negative sky space, retreating distance, snow shadows and more. There will be handouts for each workshop. People are welcome to work in pencil or pen & ink.
